Who is HRACO
(HRACO) is a member organization of local Human Resource professionals who are also members of the National Association; The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
HRACO offers professionals in the Human Resources field opportunities for skills enhancement as well as tools to obtain certification as professionals in the field of HR. We meet the third Wednesday of each month and have speakers on various HR-related topics.

HRACO's mission is to provide opportunities for education, networking and community connection to human resource professionals in Central Oregon.
The mission of SHRM is to serve the needs of the human resource management professional by providing the most essential and comprehensive set of resources available. In addition, the Society is committed to advancing the human resource profession and the capabilities of all human resource professionals to ensure that HR is an essential and effective partner in developing and executing organizational strategy.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month for the purpose of providing strategic planning to benefit our members. This includes finances, education, programming and networking, as well as, aligning our projects with SHRM. A position description of each position can be viewed by selecting the title under each professionals image.

Nancy Gammond Moody
Nancy's background includes success in key human resource positions with Mt. Bachelor Inc., Entre Prises USA, Jan Baker Facilitates and experience in several management capacities with Jeld-Wen. She is a member of HRACO and holds a SPHR certification.
Past President (2012) / Mentoring
Sally is the Human Resources Manager for Central Oregon Community College in Bend, OR. She has a bachelor's degree in Management and Human Resources. She earned her SPHR in 1997. Sally has 21 years of experience as a human resources generalist in six states. She has previously served on the HRACO board as President-Elect and Member-at-Large (Mentoring Chair).

Karnopp Petersen LLP
Kurt, a partner at Karnopp Petersen, currently serves as the Chair of the firm's Employment Law department. As an employment law and litigation attorney, Kurt has been defending and counseling employers in all aspects of the employment relationship for the last nine years.
City of Bend
Shannon is the HR Analyst with the City of Bend. Her background includes over fifteen years of wide ranged experience and knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, administrative procedures,document control and training and development strategies. She studied at California State University and holds a PHR. This is her first year serving on the board.
Member At Large
Dianna is the Director of Organization Development for Sunshine Retirement Living. Dianna has over 11 years experience in Human Resources. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Social and Behavioral Studies and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management. .
Jane Allen, SPHR
Jane is the Chief Administrative Officer for the law firm Karnopp Peterson LLP. Jane holds a BA from the University of New Mexico and executive education certificates from both Dale Carnegie and Cornell University. She has over 17 years of experience providing business, financial, and human resources leadership to three of Central Oregon's most reputable companies.

Barb has been employed by Brooks Resources for 30 years, the past 15 as Director of Human Resources. Barb served as the President of HRACO in 2001.

Western Title & Escrow Company
Danica has over 7 years experience in HR. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy with an HR emphasis. She has been with Western Title for 6 years and currently manages the HR responsibilities for the entire company. This is her second year serving on the Board.
Stephanie Miller, PHR
Express Employment Professionals
Stephanie is a 15-year veteran of Express Employment Professionals and currently functions as Chief Operating Officer. Stephanie has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Linfield College and her PHR certification.
